Hi Curt – OK, not sure if you remember me or not. I was a clarinet player at NVRHS in Demarest. My name is Val Lewis, well, Val Wisniewski now that I’m married. I think my step mom, Diane, even worked with you at some point. Anyway, I’m living in Milwaukee now. My 9th grade daughter received an invitation for the national honors band. I wasn’t familiar with the organization and was looking through the info and saw your name as one of the conductors. Just thought I would reach out and say hello! Hope you are doing well. Looks like life is busy.

Yes, I’m about to conduct my second festival with Honors Performance Series/Worldstrides, and it’s a great festival. It is very well run and organized, and the chaperones are great supervising and supporting the students. I recommend it highly!
