Winter Birthdays

For Tim’s birthday on January 16 (if you haven’t added this to your personal birthday reminder calendar, then hop to it!), Karen & Will came up for the weekend. It was the coldest weekend in recent memory in New York City — so we celebrated by spending most of our time outdoors. We went to the city and boarded the sight-seeing bus, only to learn that the 2nd level (where you could see) was open in the back of the bus! It was sooo cold! And if that wasn’t enough, we went up to the Top of the Rock — and yes, we went outside up there too! It was bitter cold!
Then Curt’s birthday arrived on February 2 (grab those calendars!). We celebrated Super Bowl style with a big buffet that Tim prepared. Nancy came over for the big game and we ate like pros.
