2013 South Beach Community Band
I’m returning as guest conductor for this community summer band again in Greenwich, Connecticut in 2013. The two concerts are both at 7:00 pm, on Sunday, July 28 and Sunday, August 25. Guest soloists include Rick Henly, trumpet, and Lois Hicks-Wozniak, alto sax.

January 17-20, 2013, I’m off to Athens, Georgia and the University of Georgia for their JanFest. I’ll be one of eight guest conductors working with students from around the Atlanta area for this huge musical event.

2012 South Beach Community Band
On July 29, 2012, I’m the guest conductor for this community summer band in Greenwich, Connecticut. Jeff Goodwin, tenor, and Tim Takagi, horn, are the soloists.
2012 New Jersey All-State String Orchestra
On May 12, I will act as guest conductor for the 2012 New Jersey All-State Intermediate Orchestra. This string orchestra will be my first honors orchestra gig, and my first all-state gig! Program includs:

On January 15, I’m the guest conductor for the 2012 Bergen County Band. This is the second time that I have the honor of conducting this ensemble; the first time was exactly 20 years ago, in 1992. The principal oboe from 1992, Mark Donellan, band director at Paramus High School, will be the band manager, and Evan Cooper, band director from Northern Valley – Demarest, and my supervisor for 12 years, will be the coordinator. Program includes some of my favorite works for band, including classics and new works, and my favorite version of our National Anthem:
